Step 1: Complete the Application Form

As a helpful tip, before filling out the application, you may want to have the following information prepared:

If you an author applying:
• Your name, e-mail, phone number, country of residence
• Full book title and ISBN
• Number of categories you want to enter and the category names

If you are applying on behalf of an author:
• Your name, e-mail and position
• Author’s name, e-mail, phone number, country of residence
• Full book title and ISBN
• Number of categories you want to enter and the category names

By applying through this form, you must agree to the Rules and Regulations of the Book Excellence Awards.

Step 2: Send Us Your Book

There are three methods by which you can send us your book.

Option #1 – Online. You can submit an eBook through the online form. We accept eBooks and audio books. Acceptable formats include: .pdf, .epub, .mobi, .doc, .docx, .mp3.

Option #2 – Gifted Amazon eBook. You can submit a gifted eBook through Amazon. Please send it to the following email address: entries@bookexcellenceaward.com.

Option #3 – By Mail. You can submit a physical copy of your book by mail to the following address:

Please send one copy of your book per category entered (e.g. If you have entered 2 categories, you are required to send 2 books)

Submission packages can be mailed via the following methods:
• Standard Mail (e.g. Canada Post, USPS)
• UPS Worldwide Express Plus,
• UPS Worldwide Express,
• UPS Worldwide Express Saver,
• UPS Worldwide Expedited Services
• FedEx Express International

Please note: We do not accept COD (Cash on Delivery) or postage due packages. If any additional fees do arise as a result of your mail-in submission, you will be responsible for paying any and all of these fees.

IMPORTANT: When mailing your book, please write “Sample,” as the description for the package. Please put the value of the package at cost, not the retail price or resale value of your book(s).

Step 3: Send Us Your Marketing Materials (Optional)

Marketing materials are optional and may include: a press release, sell sheet, author bio, links to your website/social media pages etc. If you would like to submit marketing materials, there are two methods by which you can do so.

Option #1 – Online. You can submit your marketing materials through the online form.

Option #2 – By Mail. You can submit a physical copy of your marketing materials by mail to the following address:

Step 4: Complete Payment

The regular pricing for the Book Excellence Awards is listed below. All prices are in USD. Authors are eligible to enter up to four categories per title.

1 Category = $99.00 USD
2 Categories = $148.00 USD
3 Categories = $197.00 USD
4 Categories = $246.00 USD

Option #1 – Online. Payment is accepted online by credit card (VISA, Mastercard, American Express).

Option #2 – By Mail. Payment is accepted by cheque or money order. Please ensure payment is made to ‘Literary Excellence Incorporated’ and that ‘USD’ is printed on all cheques or money orders. All payments must be made in USD.

Note about payment:  if payment cannot be processed, your entry into the Book Excellence Awards will be void.

4 categories – $246.00 USD

Authors are eligible to enter in up to four categories per title.

All books submitted to the Book Excellence Awards must meet the following guidelines:

1) Have an ISBN
2) Be written in English

We accept print books, e-books and audio books. Galley copies are also welcome.

Awards Announced on October 1st

Winners and Finalists of the 2017 Book Excellence Awards will be announced on October 1st, 2017.
